Join us for this 4.9-mile out-and-back trail near Erwin, Tennessee in the Unaka Mountain Wilderness. Generally considered a moderately challenging route with 1,154 ft of elevation gain, it takes an average of 2 h 37 min to complete. This route offers a steady incline over a trail that is 95% rocks and roots. There are four water crossings on the way up. Please dress accordingly. Trail concludes at the waterfall. The trailhead is near the campsite, and we will make sure to pay the $2.00 day fee which is based on the honor system. Rattlesnake Ridge trail also leaves from this recreation area if the group wants to extend the hike. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
