<p>Again, this year we are going to partner with Keep Kingsport Beautiful and Kingsport Stormwater Department for a float trip and cleaning of 2 ¾ mile section of Reedy Creek from the Greenbelt parking lot on Holston Valley Dr to Greenbelt trailhead on W Industry Dr.
When walking and biking Kingsport Greenbelt during my lunch hour before I retired, I never gave much thought to paddling Reedy Creek. After following https://floatthebeaver.com in Knox County,the last few years (150 paddlers @ last year’s flotilla, 5th year). I see the potential of Reedy Creek for those living in Kingsport area.
During cleanup last year Noli was 520 CFS, N Fork Holston @ Gate City 207 CFS. We only had 2 places we could not float through.
