Whitewater Class I-II We will meet at Riverside Park in Elizabethton,TN behind the Ballpark at 3:00 P.M. Bi-weekly on Saturdays all summer!
This is a dam released river so please be prepared for very cold water by bringing warm gear to wear no matter how hot the weather is for your own safety against hypothermia (paddling tops, bottoms & shoes. No flip flops, crocks or cotton clothing).
Must have proper whitewater gear to gosuch as helmet, spray skirt, flotation & a Type III PFD along with a boat that is designed for whitewater.

Also we stop for a break about half way so don’t forget your power snacks! We are usually off the water by 7:00 P.M. or so and then we can go for dinner in town. 🙂
Directions: Turn at the Miso Teriyaki House, 421 W Elk Ave, Elizabethton, TN 37643 onto Cherokee Park Dr/ W.Mill Street, you will see a sign on the left that says Carmen Dugger Sports Complex after you pass the Tractor Supply. Take the first street on Left onto Ash Street. Follow that street to the end and you will see the river. Turn left onto W Riverside Dr and pull into the small paved parking area near a covered picnic area. Look for boats!
