Rating: Difficult 11-mile round-trip hike, 2000’ of elevationgain
We will hike from IronMountain Gap at the A.T. crossing of TN107/NC226 to UnakaMountain. Depending on attendance, we will do either an out-and-back or wewill hike all the way to Indian Grave Gap. It is 5.5 miles up to UnakaMountain. If we continue to Indian Grave Gap we will also get to go tosee Beauty Spot. This is a long hike, so we will trying to get on thetrail around 8 am. Bring a lunch, snacks, and plenty of water for thehike. If there is interest from carpooling from Kingsport, let Jonathanknow and hopefully something can be coordinated.
