The APE’s group can meet at 8:30am at the bridge on LoversLane in Elizabethton if you don’t want to meet at Hardees in Piney Flats at 7:30am.
I’ll grab a case of bags and some gloves at Hardees and see you at the bridge unless you want to join me for breakfast!
We will have a trailer full of 6 loaner canoes from Ruban’s church! So if you dont have an appropriate boat to carry trash contact Deb to reserve one ASAP!!!
Otherwise bring Canoes or Large kayaks, Rec boats and Duckies and there will be drop off points along the way. TVA will not be generating so we can get more trash but they will be sluicing, so there will be minimal flow that channelizes and there is always a line through.
Please wear PFDs and helmets and wear cold water gear and for the shuttle, please bring a mask. Also pack a lunch!
We’ll meet first at the bridge and run as many cars as we can to the take-out.
