Warriors Path State Park – Fall Creek Loop

Rating:  Easy, 2-3-mile round-trip hike, around 200 ft of elevation gain

The Fall Creek Loop is only a 1 mile hike, but we will add on the hike over to the lake along the tail end of the Devil’s Backbone trail.  Since this is in the hottest part of summer, we will get on the trail early and plan on being done before lunch. You can meet at the trailhead at the very end of Childress Ferry road at 8:30am (the location shown here), or you can meet us at the Colonial Heights Ingles parking lot by 8am.  Just let the hike leader know if you are joining and where you plan on meeting!

This is a great hike very close to Kingsport and can be a great one for the whole family!
