This hike will explore all the Preserve has to offer! There are several smaller waterfalls (Big Falls and Spring Falls), a rock formation, and some decent views! What more could you ask for all within 5 miles of hiking. The park sits in SW VA at the intersection of the Big Cedar Creek and Clinch Rivers, approx. 25 miles from Abingdon. Bring water and snacks!
Directions: From I-81 at Abingdon, take ALT 58 west through town to US Route 19N. Go approx. 20 miles to Business 19 in Lebanon. At second light, turn left onto Route 82 West. Go 1.1 miles to Route 640 (River Mountain Rd) and turn right. Got 4.2 miles and turn left onto Route 721 (gravel road). Go 0.8 miles to parking area on left.
