The Laurel Falls hike is one of my favorite hikes in the area. The trailhead is less than an hour from Kingsport. It’s a 4.6 mile out-and-back type trail. You hike along the beautiful Laurel Fork of Doe River, eventually leading to a waterfall! A short part of the hike involves scrambling over some rocks, but it is not very difficult. Once we get to the waterfall, we can take a break to relax and eat snacks/lunch. You can even hop in the water to cool off!
If you plan to attend, please meet me at the trailhead. You can navigate to this site: Laurel Falls Trail – Tennessee | AllTrails, then click “directions” and it will pull up google maps and take you there! When you get close, the trailhead comes up quickly so be looking for it.
