A hike up the west side of Holston Mountain to overlook.  Not a routinely maintained USFS trail.

From Kingsport, TN:
#Take I-26 south to Exit 24 for US-321 towards Elizabethton.
#Continue through Elizabethton.
#Take left (north) onto US-19E. 
#Turn right (east) onto Flatwoods Road.
#After a couple of miles the rough road becomes Big Creek Road.
#Parking lot is on left (north) side of the road. Trail is across roadway heading to the east.
