:It's the color of the "path" in Google Earth. I changed all of yours to red since they were originally the same blue color as the river and sort of hard to see. I think the red is more clear. Take a look and let me know what you think. Eventually I'll make the kml folder FTP accesbile for others like you and you can modify as you see fit. --Tim 16:56, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

Got your message about gmap pins (same line for page, next line for caption).  That would be good to capture on the help page for others.

Where's the decorder ring for the new pins you are using on the trail g-maps? Fine with you converting what I have set up in the placeholder maps.  Hopefully working together to create the trail pages.--Vhasler 16:20, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

:We're all learning here, I just figured out the difference as well. I'll add it to the help pages soon. I think the trail pages are coming along great so far. If others take as much interest as you (thanks!) I'll definitely need your help keeping them in line if we start getting significant edits. --Tim 16:56, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

With a few more photo uploads (I quit when the server puked error messages), is Roaring Branch Trail a good start on what we want to the other pages to look like?--Vhasler 16:20, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

:What you've done with Roaring Branch Trail is perfect. Again I think it's coming along great. Thansk for the help, this site would be much less without your help to date. I also need to figure out why the photo uploads do not grant the proper permissions. --Tim 16:56, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

Adding back.  Pages [Devil's Backbone] and [Fall Creek] haven't been deleted yet as these were replaced by their WPSP-prefixed versions.--Vhasler 16:24, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

:Why "adding back"? the redirects automatically dump them to the new pages. But since no one likely has externally linked to them, it does need the clean up. I'll delete those two now (and Sinking Waters??). --Tim 16:56, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

Time to head home.  You're up late if 7 hours difference.

Help needed list:

kml files - is the trail color what I picked when I exported or a choice? Roaring Branch Trail is yellow blaze, so was going to use that as the KML trail color.--Vhasler 16:20, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

It's the color of the "path" in Google Earth. I changed all of yours to red since they were originally the same blue color as the river and sort of hard to see. I think the red is more clear. We're all learning here, I just figured out the difference as well.

What you've done with Roaring Branch Trail is perfect. Again I think it's coming along great. Thansk for the help, this site would be much less without your help to date. I also need to figure out why the photo uploads do not grant the proper permissions. --Tim 16:56, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

Adding back. Pages Devil's Backbone and Fall Creek haven't been deleted yet as these were replaced by their WPSP-prefixed versions.--Vhasler 16:24, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

Why "adding back"? the redirects automatically dump them to the new pages. But since no one likely has externally linked to them, it does need the clean up. I'll delete those two now (and Sinking Waters??). --Tim 16:56, 22 March 2011 (EDT)

Time to head home. You're up late if 7 hours difference.

I'm playing from the hotel, this is more long lasting and productive than watching a movie so I'm having fun (plus I can have a few drinks if that can explain any poor grammer ;-) ) --Tim 16:56, 22 March 2011 (EDT)
