This is a property of type Text. It is used to hold the choice of Loop / Segment / Out-n-Back to signify roughly the trail type.
Loop hikes are those hikes where a significant portion of the trail can be completed without repeating large sections in the reverse.
A segment is a trail portion that is part of a larger network and wouldn't normally be hiked without connecting with other trails. A prime example of segment trails is the Bays Mountain Park trail network.
Out-n-back are those trails where a majority of the trail must be repeated in the reverse to return to the trail head. Most waterfall hikes tend to be out-n-back.
