The new guides are typically published in July for the upcoming season, take the below dates as guidance only. Be aware of where hunting is allowed, such as national forests. Wear blaze orange!

Tennessee

  • Turkey: Saturday closest to April 1 through mid May
  • Deer: Fourth Saturday in September through the First Sunday in January (various forms during this period)
  • Small Game: Fourth Saturday in August through the last Saturday in April

Virginia There is no Sunday hunting (pg. 16 of below link) except by written permission of a private landowner.
