Located in [[Bays Mountain Park]].  Another restricted access road for nice group hikes through the reservoir valley.

This trail provides access to several of the other interior trails of the park.

Lake Road makes a complete loop around the reservoir ending at the dam and main parking lot, thus can be traveled in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. Fairly level, except between Feagins and Ledbetter Gaps when it ascends 200 ft. Serving as a main artery to access the interior trails it has trail connections to [[Trail connects to::Bays Ridge Road]], [[Trail connects to::Pine Trail]], [[Trail connects to::Lakeside Trail]], [[Trail connects to::Front Hollow Road]], [[Trail connects to::Cherry Knobs Trail]], [[Trail connects to::Bays Ridge Road]], [[Trail connects to::River Mountain Road]], [[Trail connects to::Back Hollow Road]], [[Trail connects to::Chinquapin Trail]], [[Trail connects to::Sweet Gum Trail]], [[Trail connects to::Fire Tower Trail]], [[Trail connects to::Hemlock Trail]], [[Trail connects to::Towhee Trail]], [[Trail connects to::Big Oak Trail]], [[Trail connects to::Azalea]], and [[Trail connects to::Chestnut Trail]]

Being another one of the restricted access roads it tends to be fairly flat and wide. In wetter months the tracks can be rutted and muddy.
