- Convert photos

- Prepare for conversion
- In separate window open the target page.
- Ctrl-click the "edit" tab to open the page in another tab in edit mode.
- These two pages can be used as reference during the conversion process. Do not refresh these tabs as they will update to your current save.
- If available, find the map definition and copy the target page KML link and paste into your browser address bar. This will let you download the KML for later use.
- Replace the Infobox template
- Copy existing Infobox template config to notepad for later reference
- Remove the Trail page needs template
- Paste the new trail template to the page (or a copy from a similar converted park)
- Copy over easily copied information
- Delete incorrect information
- Add the trail map template to the top
- Add the gallery template to the bottom
- If possible, use map marker spreadsheet to convert to new template objects
- Copy old map definition to notepad (if available)
- Delete bottom section (Map, unused headings, gallery, and any category definition
- Save the page
- Upload KML
- Use Download KML link to open in Google Earth, right click on route in Places on left and select Show Elevation Profile, roughly determine the route direction for elevation gain/loss direction (updated in form later)
- Use Create Profile Chart link to create the chart, save for later uploading with a right-click "Save picture as..."
- Edit with Form
- Enter available data from old template and created profile chart
- Add or tweak map markers as needed
- Save, review, continue to tweak as needed until you think it's done!
