DESCRIPTION:We’ll be doing some light maintenance on trails in Big Laurel
  Branch Wilderness along the Appalachian Trail and spend the day in the fr
 esh air. We will clear the trail of trees and cut back overgrown vegetatio
 n. Meeting at the AT crossing on Wilbur Dam Rd at 9 am.\n\nAt the end of t
 he day\, we will have a cookout at the picnic area that overlooks the Litt
 le Laurel Branch Waterfall that tumbles out of the wilderness into Watauga
  Lake. Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards will provide all the good 
 eats!
