SUMMARY:Devil's Backbone and Fall Creek Trail Hike
DESCRIPTION:The trail starts off skirting around the golf course and then c
 onsists of a not long\, but challenging uphill climb. This is then followe
 d by a steep downhill trek. The trail will then level out and take us alon
 gside the river. Devil’s Backbone ties into the Fall Creek trail\, a por
 tion of which will be included in our hike prior to switching back. Elevat
 ed views of the lake make for a nice view\, and occasionally deer can be s
 potted along the trail. The full hike in and out will be approximately 3.3
  miles. Dogs are welcome\, but must remain on a leash at all times.\n\n&nb
 sp\;\n\nThe group will meet at the parking location on Fall Creek Rd near 
 the golf course. We will be finished in time before lunch\, but I would re
 commend plenty of water for the hike\, and a light snack. Carpooling can b
 e coordinated if there is enough interest and notice ahead of time\, so pl
