Bradley.Cost: $5.00 per per son for USA Raft shuttle pass. *Please be mindful of the water levelfor th e day and your whitewater skill set. Please also ensure you bring a whitew ater boat suitable for the river conditions. Low water flow (<\;600CFS) will be more technical with a creek like feel and broaches will occurmore often without good boat control. Higher water flow (1\,200>\; CFS) will be more pushy and swims can be long and boat/gear lose can occur. We will have the trip from 250 – 3\,000 CFS. However\, to ensure the safety of a ll participants on this trip we may require 1st timers to execute a few ba sic paddling maneuvers and/or practice rolls/self rescue in flat water to qualify at the put-in before we head on down the river\, if the river flow is not in optimal ranges (600-1\,200 CFS).Meet at the USA Raft Outpost (T his will be the trip take-out) at 11:30 A.M. When you arrive on site go to USA Raft store to fill out waiver\, pay $5 for shuttle pass. USA Raft wil l be shuttling our group up to the put-in using one of their raft buses/va ns and a boat trailer. This will make our logistics for shuttling very eas y and our cars will be waiting for us back at the take out when we get off the river.~LOWER NOLICHUCKY River Trip (USA Raft Outpost to Sawmill – Cl ass I-II) lead by Steve Davis.Plan to play a lot and maybe even stop &\ ; go swimming with a snack break included to make it a fun dayon the lower !Meet at the USA Raft Outpost (This will be the trip put-in) at 12:00 P.M. to set shuttle for the Lower Noli Trip.~Picnicwill be a catered taco bar by USA Raft that will include:Chicken fajitasSeasoned ground beef/tacosSea soned black beansCilantro and lime riceCheese dip/chipsPico de Gallo \ ;GuacamoleSour creamShredded cheese \; \;*Picnic is FREE for all A PE membersand $12 for non-members.If you do wish to bring adult beverages for after river refreshment\, USA Raft has asked that you drink them from a cup (NO glass or cans!). \; The Take-Out Bar will be open for busine ss at USA Raft.~What to bring:•$5.00 cash per person \;for shuttle p ass for Noli Gorge run.•Sign waiver for shuttle at USA Raft Store•Appr opriate whitewater boat\, paddle &\; gear that you own (Yes\, I will si ng the song while we are loading!)•Camp chair for seating at picnic•$1 2.00 if not an APE member for picnic~RSVP:To sign-ups for this event pleas e send the following information for each person attending to Wesley R.
