 le round-trip hike\, fairly flat\n\nWe will be hiking from the AT crossing
  of US321/HW67 just east of Hampton\, TN. The trail follows the southside 
 of Watauga Lake all the way to the Dam. It is just under 3 miles to the Da
 m and we will come back the same route along the AT for a total of 6 miles
 . There are great views of the lake and mountains in the area. We will pla
 n on meeting at the Dunking Donuts at the Shell gas station on 19E (4953 U
 S-19E\, Hampton\, TN) at 9 AM. If there is interest in carpooling from Kin
 gsport\, Johnson City\, or anywhere else\, let the hike leader know and ho
 pefully it can be coordinated. The hike should be done around noon\, so br
 ing snacks/light lunch to enjoy along the trail. For further information a
