When printing the wiki trail pages, all of the special icon map pins revert to the standard red pin format - why? We're taking the time to use special icons to show the various locations. Still useful to help folks understand the trails, but not useful on the printout. Please investigate. --Vhasler 08:47, 5 August 2011 (EDT)
- How things print is beyond my knowledge, and quite likely beyond my control. --WikiSysop 19:45, 8 August 2011 (EDT)
So what is the difference of a day? Today, the print version is showing the proper pin icons, while yesterday printed just the red pins. Problem solved? --Vhasler 06:28, 6 August 2011 (EDT).
- Didn't change a thing, maybe different browsers on your end? --WikiSysop 19:45, 8 August 2011 (EDT)
What do you think about having a reference page to link to other websites that have been useful - and book reviews? --Vhasler 08:47, 5 August 2011 (EDT)
- I see no problem for any page to have a list of links "For more information". Sounds like a good idea. --WikiSysop 19:45, 8 August 2011 (EDT)
Infobox for AT Shelters: Key photo, Name, Trail Section, Capacity (persons), Water available, Lat, Lon --Vhasler 06:59, 7 August 2011 (EDT)
- I need to work on that... --WikiSysop 19:45, 8 August 2011 (EDT)
Check out Iron Mountain Trail - South. The Gmap is supposed to have a green kml file for the AT to show a possible loop hike. Took the official ATC kml and cut it way down to have Cross Mountain to Damascus segment. Changed line to 3 pt green. Imported into the clubwiki kml directory. But it is not appearing. Any advise? --Vhasler 22:40, 7 August 2011 (EDT)
- Name miss match. The wiki page had _ for spaces, the KML did not. I put the _ in the KML name to fix. I do not see Iron Mountain Trail.kml in the folder. Maybe you didn't u/l yet? --WikiSysop 19:45, 8 August 2011 (EDT)
