Persimmon Ridge Park

Persimmon Ridge Park, owned by Jonesborough, was created in 1991 from the 200-acre farm donated by the J. Norton Arney family. Now a recreational and historical complex with softball fields, batting cage, disc golf course, hiking trails, early pioneer cabin, tree arboretum, fishing pier, and more.

How to get there

From Kingsport, TN

  1. Take I-26 south to Exit 17 (Boones Creek Rd/Jonesborough).
  2. Right at bottom of ramp and travel just over six miles to Jonesborough.
  3. Right at traffic light onto US-11E for two miles.
  4. Turn left onto Persimmon Ridge Road.
  5. Then quickly right into the main park entrance.

Parking depends on what trails you are taking and whether it's baseball season or {http://www.wetlandsjonesborough.com/ The Wetlands} waterpark is open.
