I hiked Rogers Ridge Horse Trail today. The house you mention that you walk by, do you mean the one to the right on the peak when to the left is the Tri-State Knob? Your description seems to imply it's passed by while still in the forest of the ridge before the bald sections. If so, we saw no evidence of it. By the way, the house on the peak, while still standing has been effectively destroyed. Here's to hoping it's torn down one day. I also don't understand your final sentence in the Trail Description. We found the trail to be fairly well marked and nearly every portion clear where to continue. When was the hike that these updates were based on? The following list are Bays Mountain Hikes that are either missing KML's or the KML is missing data. Any ideas? It's a dynamic list so if there's nothing there, they've all been fixed! (at least cleared of the flag to bring them here).

Similar question:  Should we take out "Trail Number" from the template?  Are we going to number the trails?  If yes, then would have to go back and touch each of the infoboxes. If no, then we have to go remove the variable from each of the infoboxes. Since we have to edit each trail to give it a number, then I recommend dropping this variable from the template until we decide it has usefulness Vhasler 12:59, 7 March 2011 (EST)

:I see no value in numbering our trails. Hassle to create and manage and no benefit. If there was some standard trail numbering to reference, maybe like in a trails list or some maps supplier. Both this and the season doesn't make sense in our area. All of our trails are accessible all year and there are no trail number standards to reference. I'll take a look at removing it. It's a good thing to do before we get too far. I think I've seen on wikipedia that when something sweeping like this gets changed, you have a bot run through and add a template to each page, then as you take the action, you delete the template. The wiki has built in ways to see pages of certain template references so you can easily know which ones need to be updated still. Anything to add if I start messing with the infobox? --Tim 13:24, 7 March 2011 (EST)

Here it is, try it out... Special:RunQuery/Trail_Search. Let me know what you think. We need a lot more page updating to give all the trails the correct metadata to make this search work.

Trail search alpha[edit]

Here it is, try it out... Special:RunQuery/Trail_Search. Let me know what you think. We need a lot more page updating to give all the trails the correct metadata to make this search work.
