:It's an auto-category that gets added to... pages with broken file links, making it easy to go to a single category page and start fixing bad links. Noting that you recently edited Phipps Bend Trail, this page's broken file link is the Placeholder.JPG referenced in the IB. We can ignore it, upload an image and update, or upload an actual image named Placeholder.JPG which would fix a good portion in that category. --WikiSysop 08:55, 28 April 2013 (MDT)

:Ah, ha.  I've learned.  Fixed the Phipps Bend Trail by using the first image to replace the placeholder.jpg reference.  Guess was not considering that to be a link.  Still need to get images off camera from the hike to flesh out this hike page.  Thanks.  --Vhasler 04:04, 6 June 2013 (MDT)

Shelter:Apple House How do we edit http://tehcc.org/clubwiki/kml/TEHCC_AT.kml to correct its waypoint about this Apple House Shelter? Also that Curley Map Gap Shelter was renovated, thus needs new information.--Vhasler 19:01, 1 August 2012 (MDT)

KML just refers to info saved on a TEHCC google account. I edited there, I haven't seen it come through yet but that's probably due to caching. --WikiSysop 19:50, 6 August 2012 (MDT)
Is this fixed?--WikiSysop 20:01, 12 December 2012 (MST)
Yes, Apple House is fixed with a new tent icon. And no, Shelter:Curley Maple Gap still has an old picture (new one available on shelter page) and reference to only sleeping 6 - now 14. For future reference, will we be able to adjust the KML to show the club section stopping at the TN/VA border? --Vhasler 15:07, 19 January 2013 (MST)
Is Curley Maple Gap now fixed? One of these days we'll move it to be a "regular" KML like the others... Regardless we should be able to edit as needed where it's at now for any trail updates. --WikiSysop 06:43, 20 February 2013 (MST)

Bear/food cable systems

A recent contact was asking about bear cables. Should we add? Do we have them anywhere? If we add, should it be an IB item? Looking for your thoughts. --WikiSysop 19:05, 16 January 2013 (MST) Per Carl, we only have a bear pole at one location: Watauga Lake Shelter. Per wiki page, in Feb 2012: Bear pole installed by Eagle Scout Seth Douthat. The year in the wiki is wrong as the project was stated as complete in several 2011 maintenance reports. As far as making it a IB item, I would say "yes" to answer that type of inquiry. Have privey as a IB field, but only have one in the entire club section.

Question: How is a dead page deleted?

A "WikiSysop" needs to do that if you don't have the option. I'll delete it. --WikiSysop 06:43, 20 February 2013 (MST)
Thanks for work yesterday. We missed one Rhododenron Gardens which was a misspelled title. --Vhasler 03:40, 26 February 2013 (MST)

Pages with broken file links

How come this "error" appears at the bottom of some pages... in the categories? Checking several, I cannot figure out what link is busted in order to fix. Desire to clean up. --Vhasler 13:22, 27 April 2013 (MDT)

It's an auto-category that gets added to... pages with broken file links, making it easy to go to a single category page and start fixing bad links.
