What does "Season" variable in the Infobox imply? Do we have any seasonally limited trails? Or is this best time to hike (spring for waterfalls, fall for color, winter for forested peaks)?

:Season can mean whatever we want it to mean. If we think it doesn't make any sense we can delete it. I copied a format others had used, and where they were, yes, there probably were seasons. Side note, four tildes <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki> to sign in comments or talk pages, or just hit the signature button, second from right on edit toolbar. The wiki will replace it with your name and date when the change is saved. --[[User:Tim|Tim]] 08:52, 7 March 2011 (EST)
::So where did you take the "seasons" idea to see what they were doing with it? If we keep, then recommend instructions for folks in the "how to create a trail page" help.
Similar question: Should we take out "Trail Number" from the template? Are we going to number the trails? If yes, then would have to go back and touch each of the infoboxes. If no, then we have to go remove the variable from each of the infoboxes. Since we have to edit each trail to give it a number, then I recommend dropping this variable from the template until we decide it has usefulness [[User:Vhasler|Vhasler]] 12:59, 7 March 2011 (EST)
:I see no value in numbering our trails. Hassle to create and manage and no benefit. If there was some standard trail numbering to reference, maybe like in a trails list or some maps supplier. Both this and the season doesn't make sense in our area. All of our trails are accessible all year and there are no trail number standards to reference. I'll take a look at removing it. It's a good thing to do before we get too far. I think I've seen on wikipedia that when something sweeping like this gets changed, you have a bot run through and add a template to each page, then as you take the action, you delete the template. The wiki has built in ways to see pages of certain template references so you can easily know which ones need to be updated still. Anything to add if I start messing with the infobox? --[[User:Tim|Tim]] 13:22, 7 March 2011 (EST)
Okay, how do you change a page name link? I broke up "Gentry Creek Falls and Rogers Ridge" into "Gentry Creek Falls" and "Rogers Ridge Horse Trail", but can't seem to change the name at the Gentry Creek Falls page. Help!--[[User:Vhasler|Vhasler]] 21:11, 7 March 2011 (EST)
:Next to the 'Edit' tab there is a down chevron. If you hover over it, 'Move' should show up as an option. That's how I did it. --[[User:Tim|Tim]] 16:21, 8 March 2011 (EST)
