Backpack HB-19 is a 4300 cubic inch external
frame similar to picture (newer model). It was likely
purchased in the early 1990’s, and the current price for an equivalent pack
would be $180-200. This pack is good for a long weekend on the
trail with plenty of space in the main compartment. Note: the lower access
zipper has split across the teeth (probably snagged hard on something), thus
this pocket has been sewn closed by Garry Luttrell. The entire main
compartment is available from the top.
Get the pack a day early so that you can work
with the quite flexible suspension and get the straps adjusted right.
This sturdy pack appears to be a workhorse over the years for the club, so give it
a try.
