The Tennessee Eastman Hiking and Canoeing Club is organized under the auspices of the Eastman Recreation Club for the benefit of Eastman Chemical Company employees, retirees, and their familiesEmployees and retirees must also be members of the Eastman Recreation Club.

Those not associated with Eastman are called program affiliates and are welcome to participate in all club activities.  Anyone can call Recreation at (423) 229-3771 or visit the main desk at the Eastman Employee Center for more information.  We also have a club brochure that you can review and print.

Employees

Annual dues for employees are $5.  Employees can join at the Eastman Employee Center store or use the form at http://eastmanweb/hrrec/joinerc.htm, and have their dues deducted from their paycheck.  Employees receive a monthly e-mail containing a link to the electronic version of the newsletter on this web site.

Retirees

Retirees have two options:

bulletRetirees can elect to receive a monthly e-mail containing a link to the electronic version of the newsletter on this web site.  In this case there are no dues.
bulletRetirees residing in the U.S. can elect to receive a hardcopy newsletter.  In this case annual dues are $5.

Retirees can join or renew their membership by printing and completing the renewal form and mailing it along with their dues (for hardcopy) to:

Program Affiliates

Program affiliates have two options:

Retirees and program affiliates can also drop the form and their dues at the Eastman Employee Center store.  Checks should be made payable to Eastman Recreation Club.

TEHCC officers must be employees or retirees.

To participate in club outings:

bulletRead about our outings in our club newsletters.
bulletSelect an outing that appeals to you.  Contact the trip leader if you have any questions.
bulletPrint and mail in a release form using the instructions on the form.  Each participant in an outing must have a release form on file with the Eastman Recreation Club.  Trip leaders should have a supply of forms at the meeting place for the outing.
bulletShow up at the meeting place, and enjoy your outing!!
