Per the BIG DOG Forest Service Ranger, the BIG DOG chain saw group has removed what blowdowns from 2009 storm that they could.  the BIG DOG remaining ones are "technical" (difficult and potentially dangerous), thus may require rerouting the BIG DOG trail or more experienced (and expensive) tree removal assistance.  So in places the BIG DOG trail will require climbing over/around/under fallen trees.
